ISO4783-3:1981 was prepared by Technical Committee24 of ISO, with the UK taking an act
10、ive part. BS7372 consists of the following Parts: Part 1: General; Part 2: Preferred combinations for woven wire cloth; Part 3: Preferred combinations for pre-crimped or pressure-welded wire screens. Parts 1 and 2 are identical with ISO4783-1:1989 and ISO4783-2:1989, respectively. It was originally
11、intended that ISO4783-3:1981 would not be considered for implementation as a British Standard until it had been revised. However, revision of the ISO standard has not taken place, and the Technical Committee has agreed that, to avoid further delay, the international standard should be implemented in
12、 its current form. BS7372-3:1993 supersedes BS481-2:1972, which is withdrawn. The Technical Committee has reviewed the provisions of ISO2194:1991 and ISO4782:1987, to which normative reference is made in the text, and has decided that they are acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard. A
13、related British Standard for ISO2194 is BS410:1986. There is no British Standard corresponding to ISO4782. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with a British St

17、ions of aperture size and wire diameter for pre-crimped or pressure welded wire screens for industrial purposes which are taken from the general list of aperture/wire combinations given in ISO4783-1. It applies to wire screens of aperture size from125to1mm. NOTEThis is the first International Standa
18、rd on pre-crimped or pressure welded wire screens for industrial purposes; these specifications are a compromise which takes account of existing national standards. ISO Member Bodies are earnestly requested to rationalize further in order to reduce the number of wire diameters per aperture width wit
19、hin the next5 years without excluding the option of increasing the numbers of preferred apertures. 22、rture w; b) diameter of wire d; c) material of wire; d) type (see Table 1). 4 Aperture size and wire diameter combinations Table 2 lists the preferred combinations of aperture size and wire diameter for wire screens and states the open area, A oand the mass per square metre,A A , for each combinatio
23、n. 5 Mass per unit area The mass per unit area, A A , of pre-crimped or pressure welded wire screens is given, in kilograms per square metre, by the formula where Values for f shall be taken from Table 1. For wires of plain or carbon steel, A = 7850 kg/m 3 . For wires of stainless steel, A = 7800kg/
