All characteristics shown in BS EN 16034, unlike those shown in BS EN 143511, are essential characteristics and can be declared when placing a fireresisting and/or smoke control doorset on the European market in accordance with th

The performance of the facings can only be assessed by testing the whole doorset in accordance with the appropriate British Stand
47、ard. Examples of materials successfully used include:a) thermoplastic;b) bre reinforced thermosets;c) steel; andd) aluminium.5.1 Doorset outer frameDoorset outer frame materials used in composite doorsets shall, where applicable, conform to the appropriate product standards, including:a) BS 7722:201
48、0 or BS EN 126081 for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVCU);b) BS EN 4852, BS EN 515, BS EN 7552, BS EN 7559 or BS EN 12020 (all parts) for aluminium;c) BS EN 10346:2009, coating Z275, for steel sheet or box section;BS 8529:2017 BRITISH STANDARD4 THE BRITISH STANDARDS INSTITUTION 2017 ALL RIGHTS R

Such materials may be used provided that the nished doorset meets the thermal cycling requirement specied in Clause 10, togeth
