NOTEThe titles of the publications referred to in this standardare listed on the inside back cover. 2 Definitions For the purposes of this BritishStandard, the following definitions apply. 2.1 delta shaped drawbar twin drawbars of a tr
10、ailer whose included angle, where they join, is approximately30 . 2.2 overrun device a device that automatically applies the brakes of a trailer when the speed of the towing vehicle decreases. 3 Mounting dimensions The sizes and disposition of mounting holes shall be as shown in Figure 1. 11、n devices are provided with slots to accommodate the two rear fixing bolts, the position of which may vary within the tolerance on the angle shown in Figure 1. 4 Fixing bolts and nuts Four1/2UNI gradeS bolts and nuts complying with BS1768, or four12mm grade8.8 bolts and nuts complying with BS3692, s
12、hall be used to secure the overrun device to the mounting face of the drawbar. The nuts shall be secured by a locking method that will prevent them becoming loose.
