This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by
11、publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by July 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2010. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN and/or CENELEC s

19、assification Dimensional classification shall be made, irrespective of length, into classes according to the mid diameter under bark or over bark. The under bark classification is described by a D letter. The over bark classification is described by an R letter. The D or R letter shall specify the t
20、ype of class. If round timber is measured over bark, this should be agreed by contract including the bark allowance. Possibilities for bark allowance are e.g.: agreed reduction from the diameter (medium or top diameter); reduction in percent (%) of the circular area; use of regional common bark allo
21、wance tables.
