It is identical to the1992 edition, with the approved Corrigendum EN148-3:1992/AC:1996 incorporated (see tolerances on M45 3 in Figure 1 to Figure 4), but with no other technical changes. 20、3 1 Scope This European Standard is applicable to self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus designed as positive pressure breathing apparatus. This European Standard specifies a thread connection, M45 3, which may optionally be usedfor facepieces for positive pressure breathing apparatus. Th
21、is European Standard does not apply to negative pressure breathing apparatus, to closed-circuit breathing apparatus or to diving equipment. 2 Dimensions, designation 2.1 The dimensions shall be as shown in Figure 1 to Figure 5. The connections may not correspond to the pictorial details of Figure 1
22、to Figure 5. 2.2 Thread connections with an external thread (code PA) on equipment shall be as shown in Figure 1 andFigure 2.
