Alengthofadhesivetapeisappliedtoastandardplatewhichisthenfixedverticallyinoneclampofatensile testingmachine.Theotherclampofthemachine
34、pullsthefreeendoftheadhesivetapeatanangleof180tothe plate. Theadhesivestrengthismeasuredbytheforcerequiredtopeeltheadhesivetapecontinuouslyfromtheplate,the lineofseparationbeingperpendiculartothedirectionoftheappliedforce. 5.2Materials 5.2.1 Absorbentcleaningmaterial: surgicalgauze,cottonwoolortissu
35、e.Tobesuitable,materialsshallbelint freeduringuse,absorbent,containnoadditivesthataresolubleinthesolventslistedin5.2.2andmadeexclusively fromvirginmaterials. 5.2.2 Oneormoreofthefollowingsolvents: diacetonealcoholnonresidualgrade(4hydroxy4methyl2pentanone); methanol; methyl ethyl ketone; acetone; nh
36、eptane; amixtureofnheptaneandafluorinatedhydrocarbonsuchasrefrigerant(suitablewhentoxicityorflammability restrictionsapply). Solventsshallbeofgeneralpurposechemicalgradeandheldinasuitabledispensingsystem. 5.3Apparatus 5.3.1 Testpiececutter Anappropriatetestpiececuttershallholdtwosingleedgerazorblade
37、sinparallelplanesaprecisedistanceapart, toformacutterofexactspecimenwidth;twocutters,12mmand24mmcuttingwidth,shallbeavailableor appropriatealternativeswhichwillnotcauseedgedamage.Theprecisionoftherazorbladeseparationshallbethe nominalwidth 0,1mm. 5.3.2 Tensiletestingmachine Aconstantrateofextension(
38、CRE)tensiontestershallbeused.Itisproposedtouseanelectronicmachinetaking atleastonereadingpermmoftapepeeled.Thetestershallhavetwoclampswithcentresinthesameplane, parallelwiththedirectionofthemotiononthesameplane,parallelwiththedirectionofthemotiononthestressing clampandsoalignedthattheywillholdthespe
