Inlinesplices Theshortestcableshallbecutflushwiththeinsulatoroftheinlinesplice.Thisendshallbeinsulatedby coatinginthesamewayasoutlinedabove. 4 Method Thecrimpedcomponentshallbeim
21、mersedinanaqueoussolutioncontaining5%sodiumchloridetoadepth thatallowsthecrimpedareatobecovered.Applyavoltagebetweenthespecimenandanimmersed electrodesituatedamaximumof50mmfromthespecimen.Thisvoltageshallbeincreasedgradually, withoutexceeding500V/s,to1 500 V,50Hzortothevoltagestrengthspecifiedinthet
