It shall be used together with EN2591. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference p

For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this European Standard only when incorporated in

EN 2591, Aerospace series Elements of electrical and optical connection Test methods General. 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Specimens shall be prepared according to the technical specifica
21、tion. The receptacle shall be mounted to a support. 3.2 Unless specified in the technical specification, the following details shall be stated: mounting method, type of cable and definition of specimen wiring; test method A or A and B; temperature for method B; speed of mating and unmating; method A
22、 or B: maximum value of mating forces; method A or B: maximum and minimum values of unmating forces. 4 Method 4.1 Procedure The specimen shall be fully mated and unmated according to the specified values. The forces required to fully mate or unmate specimens shall be measured. 4.2 Requirements The m
23、easured values shall be within the specified limits. Method A: specimens shall be tested at ambient temperature. Method B: specimens shall be submitted for2h to the specified temperature between25C and55C. The test shall be carried out immediately on removal from the chamber.BS EN 2591-408:1998 BSI
