Averificationshallbeobtai

32、nedforeachfibrebatchsuppliedtothelightingcolumnmanufacturer, verifyingthatthebatchcomplieswiththefibremanufacturersperformancespecification. 5.2Polymer resin Theresinsystemshallhavemechanicalanddurabilitycharacteristicsthatareadequateforthe environmentanddesignlifeofthecolumn,andshouldhaveprocessing

33、characteristicssuitedtothe manufacturingprocessandfibrereinforcement.Thermosettingisophthalicpolyesterresinhavingthe typicalpropertiesgiveninannexA,TableA.3islikelytocomply.Alternativeoradditionalresinsshall havemechanicalanddurabilitycharacteristicsthatareequivalentorgreaterthanthermosetting polyes

34、ter.Fillercontentshallnotadverselyaffectthemechanicalanddurabilitypropertiesoftheresin. Tominimisethedegradationofthematerialandcolourfadingduringthedesignedlifetimeasuitable UVstabilizershallbeaddedtotheresin. Averificationshallbeobtainedforeachresinbatchsuppliedtothelightingcolumnmanufacturer, cer

35、tifyingthatthebatchcomplieswiththeresinmanufacturersperformancespecification. 5.3 Attachmentsandfixings Allstructuralattachmentsandfixingsshouldbemadeofpolymercompositematerialsorother materialsthatofferequivalentorenhanceddurability. 6Dimensions Themaindimensionsoffibrereinforcedpolymercompositelig

36、htingcolumnsshallbeinaccordance withprEN402.EN407:2002(E) 6 7 Designanddesignverification Thedesignandverificationoffibrereinforcedpolymercompositelightingcolumnsshallbein accordancewithEN4031,EN4032andprEN4033andtheadditionalrequirementsofannexB ofthisstandard. Thecolumnshallbedesignedtosustainthed

37、eadloadsandthewindloads,specifiedinaccordance withEN4031. Thestructuraldesignofalightingcolumnshallbeverifiedbyeithercalculationinconformityto prEN4033,orbytesting,inconformitytoEN4032.Ifcalculationisused,themethodofcalculation andparametersusedshallbeverifiedbyappropriatephysicaltypetesting(seeanne

38、xE). 8 ConstructionandProperties 8.1Pigmentation Compositelaminatesshallbecompletelypigmentedwithauniformcolourthroughoutthestructure. 8.2Surface finish Thecolumnsandbracketsshallhaveasmoothfinishwithasuitablesurfacecoatingtopreventfibres breakingoutofthesurfaceduringthedesignlifeofthecolumn. NOTE T

39、hissurfacecoatingcanbeintheformofasurfaceveilproducingaprotectiveresinrichlayer integralwiththestructure,oranappropriatepolyurethaneoracryliccoatingsystemoragelcoatbackedbya suitablelayerofchoppedstrandmat. 8.3Cut edges Allcutedgestotheextremitiesortoopeningsinthecolumnshallbesealedtopreventtheingre

40、ssof wateroranyothercontaminants.Sealingshallbethroughtheapplicationoftheparentresinora suitablealternativeandshallbecompletedpriortotheapplicationofanyexternalcoatings. 8.4 Mechanicalproperties Thecharacteristicpropertiesoftheresultinglaminatesshallbedeterminedinaccordancewith annexC. 9Joints Alljo

41、intsshall bedesignedandverifiedinaccordancewithclause 7. 10 Protectionagainstmechanicalimpact Atypetestshallbecarriedoutoneachtypeandnominalheightofcolumn,orpartcolumnprovided eachendofthepartextendsatleast0,3maboveandbelowthedooropening,andshallcomplywith animpactprotectioncategoryofIK08asspecified

42、inEN50102withthedoorfitted. Thetestequipmentshallbeeitherimpactpendulumhammerorverticalfreefallhammer. Thenumberofimpactsshallbefiveandshallbeappliedaroundthehorizontalcircumferenceatthe midheightofthedoor.Forcircularcolumnstheimpactpointsshallbeequispacedaroundthe remainingcircumferenceexcludingthe

43、door.Foroctagonalcolumnstheseshallbeoneachofthe adjacentfacesexcludingthedoor.EN407:2002(E) 7 Aftertestingthereshallbenoindentationgreaterthan3mmindepthwhenmeasuredwithaprofile gauge.Thetestvalidatesthoseproductsofwhichtheoutsidediameter(orflatdimension)isequalto orlessthanthediameterbeingtested,withthesamewallthicknessandmaterialstrength.
