Duringthepreparationofthisstandard,itwasassumedthatanegotiationwouldtak

21、eplacebetweenthepurchaser andthemanufacturerconcerningtheintendedpurposeoftherope. Althoughtablesofbreakingforcesandmassesareprovidedforanumberofthemorecommonclasses,diameters andropegrades,thisPartofthisstandardisnotlimitedtothosegiven,providingalloftheotherrequirementsare met. 1Scope ThisPartofthi

Thevaluesofminimumbreakingforceforthemorecommonclassesandgradesofropesshallnotbelessthan thosegiveninTables2to4.Forintermediateropediameters,thevaluesshallnotbelessthanthoseobtainedfrom theformulagiveninannexCusingt
