Itshallbepossibletocleantheprotectorsinaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructionswithoutthelossofthe abilitytofulfiltherequirementsofthisstan
26、dard. 4.2Innocuousness Protectorsshallbedesignedandmanufacturedtoprovideprotectionwhenusedinaccordancewiththeinformation suppliedbythemanufacturer,withoutanyharmtotheuserorotherswhensoused.Materials,incorporatedsub stances,seamsandedgesandparticularlythosepartsoftheprotectorsinclosecontactwiththeuse
27、rshallnot impairtheusershealthandhygiene. Thecolourofprotectorsorpartsofthemshallberesistanttoperspiration. Fortextilematerials,whentestedinaccordancewith5.3.1,thisrequirementisconsideredasfulfilledif,usingan alkalineandacidsolutionaccordingtoENISO105E04, afastnessgrade3to4accordingtoEN20105A02 byth

Forothermaterialstheserequirementsareconsideredasfulfilledifnostainingoftheusedstripsoffilterpaperis observed whentheyaretestedinaccordancewith5.3.2. 4.3Restraint Thedesignoftheprotectorsshallenablesecurefixationtotheb
29、odyoftheuser,sothattheywillremaininplace duringthenormaluseforwhichtheyareintended.Ifsecurefixationisnotprovidedbyrestraintsystemswhichare integratedelementsorpermanentlyattachedtotheprotectorinstructionsshallbeprovidedbythemanufacturer describingamethodofsecurefixation. Ifrigid,sharpedgesandabrasiv
30、eelementsarepartoftherestraintsystem,theyshallbecompletelycoveredbya softpadding. Thedisplacementoftheprotectorfromitsoriginalpositionshallbeaftereachindividualtestlessthan15%ofthe lineardimensionofthezoneofprotection(see4.5andclause7)measuredinthelinewiththeforcesuppliedas specifiedin5.4.
