35、2003EN 13286-43:2003 (E)51 ScopeThis European Standard specifies a test method for the determination of the modulus of elasticity of specimens ofhydraulically bound mixtures. The European Standard applies to specimens manufactured in the laboratory orprepared from cores. The modulus is determined usi

Thesenormative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text, a

Fordated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this EuropeanStandard only when incorporated in it by amendment or revision. 40、 apply.3.1hydraulically bound mixturemixture that hardens by hydraulic and/or pozzolanic and/or sulphatic and/or carbonatic reaction, which usually hasa workability to suit compaction by rolling and which is generally used in bases, sub-bases and capping layers3.2modulus of elasticityvalue given by
41、the quotient stress/strain4 Determination of the modulus of elasticity by compression or by direct tensile test4.1 PrincipleA specimen of hydraulically bound mixtures is subjected to a uniaxial compressive stress according to EN 13286-41 or a direct tensile stress according to EN 13286-40.BS EN 1328
42、6-43:2003EN 13286-43:2003 (E)6During the test, the force-strain curve is recorded to permit the determination of the modulus of elasticity of thematerial.4.2 Apparatus4.2.1 Testing machineWhen the test is carried out in compression, the machine shall conform to EN 13286-41.When the test is carried o
43、ut in direct tension, the machine shall conform to EN 13286-40.4.2.2 Strain measuring deviceThe longitudinal strain shall be measured on the wall of the specimen, on three straight lines offset by 120 in the“central part“ of the specimen. The length l0of the “central part“ shall be at least four tim
44、es the maximumdimension of the aggregate. In compression, the distance from the platens to the extremities of the central partshall be at least 1,5 times the maximum dimension of the aggregate and at least 15 mm. The accuracy of the valuel used for calculation shall be within 3 %.The strain is measu
45、red directly when using a strain gauge and is equal to l / l0when using an extensometer. When the extensometer (see Figure 1) is used, it shall consist of two rigid rings, each fixed to the wall of thespecimen by three screws. The end of the screw shall have a rounded end to avoid penetration into th
46、e specimen.Three transducers shall be fixed to one of the rings to determine the displacement between the two rings. Theaverage of the three measurements gives the value of l, of the specimen during the test and therefore the strain .NOTESystems for adjusting the distance l0 between the two rings co
