27、withthenatureofthegasandfillingpressureorfillingweight; thecylindersupportsorbundleframesarefreefromdamagewhichwillaffectthemechanicalintegrityofthe batteryvehicle; therestrainingsystemsthatpreventthecylindersfrommovingaresecureandthecylindershavenotmoved whilstinservice; thevisiblesurfacesofcylinde
28、rsarefreeofanysignsofdents,cuts,gouges,firedamageoranyothersignsof damage.RejectioncriteriashallbeappliedinaccordancewithEN1968,EN1802orprENISO11623,as appropriate.Whereanycylinderisdamagedthatcylindershallbeisolatedandidentified.Inthecaseoffire damageallcylinderswithinthebatteryvehicleshallbeinspec
29、tedandanysuspectcylindersshallbe revalidatedorrejected; thecylindervalves,wherefitted,andanyisolatingshutoffvalvesareallintheopenposition; themainoutletconnectionisfreefromcontaminationandisundamagedandhasthecorrectthreadforthegas tobefilled; whereappropriateanysafetydevicessuchasreliefvalvesorburst
30、ingdiscsareinplaceandhavenotbeen damaged; thenecessarydataspecifiedinprEN13807ispermanentlymarkedorlabelledonthebatteryvehicle. Additionallyacheckofthemainoutletvalveshallbecarriedouttoensurethatthevalveoperatesproperly.EN13385:2002(E) 7 Inadditionitshallbeverifiedthatthebatteryvehicleisfreefromanyi
31、nternalcontaminationwhichmayaffectthe integrityofthepressuresystembyensuringthatthebatteryvehiclehasapositiveresidualpressure. 4.2Immobilisationandearthing 4.2.1Immobilisation Adeviceshallbeengagedwherebythebatteryvehiclecannotbedrivenormovedwhenaloadingordischargehose isconnected. 4.2.2Earthing Whe
32、reflammablegasesarebeingfilled,anearthingconnectionshallbemadebetweenthefillingpointandthe batteryvehicleinordertoachieveelectricalcontinuitybeforethefillingprocesscommences. 4.3Inspectionduringfilling Duringfillingitshallbeverified,e.g.byuseofaleakdetectionsolution,thatnoapparentleaksexist.Particul
33、arcare shallbeexercisedwherethebatteryvehiclecontainstoxic,pyrophoricorflammablegases. Theleveltowhichbatteryvehiclesarefilledwithliquefiedgasesshallbedeterminedfromtheweightofthegaswhich shallnotexceedtheweightofgasthevehiclebatteryisdesignedtohold. Forbatteryvehiclesequippedwithclosablecylinderval
34、ves,inordertoensurethatnobundleorindividualcylinder equippedwithacylindervalveisoverfilled,onlyonecylinderorbundleshallbefilledatatime.Theweightofproduct addedtoeachcylinderorbundleshallbecontrolledinaccordancewiththeprescribedfillingratioandprocedures. 4.4Disconnection Priortodisconnection,thehosea
35、ssemblyshallbeventedandpurgedinaccordancewiththemanufacturers instructionsinamannerthatpreventstheventedgasfromcausinganyformofhazard. 4.5Inspectionafterfilling Uponcompletionofthefillingofthebatteryvehicleitshallbeverifiedthat: thebatteryvehiclehasnotbeenoverfilled.Forbatteryvehiclesfilledbypressur
36、ethepressureshallbe correctedagainstthereferencetemperature; forbatteryvehicleswithoutclosablecylindervalvesfilledbyweight,theweightofthefullbatteryvehicleshall becheckedagainstthemaximumpermissiblefillingweightbytheuseofascalesuitablefortheweightofthe batteryvehicle; thefillhosehasbeendisconnectedf
