Adjustthetemp
30、eratureoftheovento(75 2) C. Afterhavingweighedanemptyglasstube,placethetestsampleintoit. Ifthesubstanceisaliquid,apasteoragranularsolid,pourorplaceitintothetube.Granularsolidsaretested withoutcompacting.Thesubstanceshallfillthelowerpartofthetubeuptoaheightof(50 1)mm,whichgivesa testsamplevolumeof(10
31、0 2)ml. Foracompactsolid,thetestsamplecomprisesoneofthecylindricalblocksdescribedin5.2.Placetheblockinthe lowerpartofthetube. Weighthetubecontainingthesubstancetobetestedinordertodeterminethemassofthetestsampleandderive theloadingdensityofthesubstance,bymeansofthefollowingequation: where r istheload
