Forbulkexplosives,prepareandtestthreecartridgesofdiameterequaltotheminimumboreholediameter specifiedbythemanufacturerfortheproduct.Thelengthshallbeatleastfivetimes
29、thisdiameter. 6Procedure Attachthecartridgetothewitnesssystemandinserttheassembly,togetherwiththeinitiator,intothefiringtube. Closethefiringtubeatbothends,withthewaterinletpipeandtheelectricalleadsinplace.Fillthefiringtube completelywithwater.Measurethetemperatureofthewater.Applyatleastthemaximumpre
30、ssurespecifiedby themanufacturerofthehighexplosive,butnomorethan5%abovethisvalue.Maintainthispressurefor2h.After thattimedisconnectorisolatethepressuresystem(e.g.byclosingvalveAinFigure2)whilemaintainingthe hydrostaticpressureinthefiringtube. Connecttheelectricalleadsandfiretheinitiator.Ifthecartrid
31、gefailstodetonaterecordtheresultofthetestas “Failure“. Thetestisperformedthreetimesunlessafailureoccurs,inwhichcasethetestisdiscontinued. 7 Testreport ThetestreportshallconformtoENISO/IEC17025.Inadditionthefollowinginformationshallbegiven: a)areferencetothisstandard; b)thetemperatureofthewaterimmedi
