32、onofqualityissues Inthecasewhenissuesofqualityarisebetweencustomerandsupplier,retestingofthematerialisnecessary. Thesamplingandtestsshallbeundertakenasagreedbetweencustomerandsupplier. 6 Preparationofplatesandtestspecimens Testspecimensshallbecutfromtheprofilewherethedimensionsoftheprofilepermit(see
33、6.2.2).Inothercases, atestplatecanbeusedtosimulatethepultrusionforthedeterminationofthelaminatepropertiesfordesignor qualificationpurposes.EN137062:2002(E) 6 6.1Manufactureoftestplates TestplatesshallbemanufacturedinaccordancewithISO12686usingaflatstripdie.Fortestspecimenscutonly inthedirectionofpro
34、duction,theflatstripshallbeaminimumof50mmwide. Ifpropertiesperpendiculartothedirectionofproductionarerequired,theflatstripshallbeaminimumof250mm wide. Thethicknessoftheflatstripshallbethesameastheprofilebeingsimulated. Therawmaterialsused,thelaminateconstructionandtheproductionparameters(dietemperat
35、ure,pullspeed, etc.)ofthetestplateshallmatchascloselyaspossibletheintendedproductionconditionsoftheprofilebeing simulated. 6.2Preparationofspecimens 6.2.1Dimensions Testspecimensshallbecuttothedimensionsandtolerancesgivenintheindividualtestmethods. 6.2.2 Cuttingoftestspecimens Testspecimensshallnotb
36、etakencloserthan10mmtotheedgesorchangeinsectionofaprofile.Thecuttingof testspecimensshallbeundertakeninsuchawaythatanyresultantedgedefectsdonotadverselyaffectthetest results.Oneofthefollowingthreeproceduresmaybeused. 6.2.2.1Milling TestspecimensmaybecutfromthetestplaqueusingaduplicatingorCNCmillingm
37、achine. 6.2.2.2Sawing Testspecimensmaybecutfromthetestplaqueusingacircularsawfittedwithahardenedmetalordiamond edgedsawblade.Alternativetechniquessuchaslaserorwaterjetcuttingarealsoacceptableifmeetingtheabove qualityrequirements. 6.2.2.3Precutting Testspecimensmaybecutbyanyconvenientmeanstoaminimumo
