Thechambershallbefittedwithacalibratedtemperatureindicatoraccurateto( 1,0C)withitsbulb

33、orsensorat thepointwherethetemperaturefluctuationisknowntobegreatest.Alternativelythetemperatureindicatormaybe placedinthecentreofthehorizontalplaneabovethetopofthespecimens. 5.4 Measurementofforces Deviceformeasurementofforces,fittedtotheoutsideofthecoolingchamber,capableofmeasuringwithanaccu racyo

34、f 1Nupto100Nandwithanaccuracyof 1%thereafter,themaximumtensileforcesappliedtoeachtest specimen. 6 Preparationandconditioningoftestspecimens 6.1 PreparethetestsampleaccordingtoprEN138806. 6.2 ConcretetestblocksinaccordancewithEN 1388012shallbeused.Theconcretetestblocksshallbe (125 1)mminlength,(50,0

35、0,5)mminwidthand(50,0 0,5)mminheightandshallhaveamoisturecontentof (5,0 0,5)%. 6.3 Useasuitablejigtoplacetwotestblocksexactlyoppositeeachotherforajointwidthof(24,0 0,5)mmand ajointlengthandheightof(50,0 0,5)mm. 6.4 Ifaprimerisused,applyittothesawntestfacesoftheconcretetestblocksinaccordancewiththe m

36、anufacturersinstructions. 6.5 Placeatopmaskonthejigsothatthejointcanbeoverfilledwhenthehotappliedjointsealantinpouredinto it. 6.6 Anyadheringofthepouredhotappliedjointsealanttothebordersofthejointshallbeavoided. 6.7 Allowthetestspecimenstocoolatlaboratorytemperaturefor2hafterwhichremovetheexcesshota

37、pplied jointsealantusingaheatedknifesothatthetestspecimensareflushwiththesurfaceoftheconcretetestblocks.EN1388010:2003(E) 6 6.8 Threetestspecimensshallbepreparedforeachtest. 7Procedure 7.1 Leavetheassembledtestspecimeninthejigandfirmlyfixitintheclampsoftheextensionapparatus. Removethejig.Arrangethea

38、pparatussothatthejiggedtestspecimenscanbeinsertedintotheclamps convenientlyandwithoutdisturbingthetestspecimensbefore,duringandaftertheremovalofthejig. 7.2 Reducethetemperatureoftheatmospheresurroundingthetestspecimenandmaintainforaperiodof6h andduringthetest.
