23、-,-BS EN 16146:2012EN 16146:2012 (E) 5 1 Scope This European Standard applies to hoses for extractable outlets of any material intended for equipping sanitary tapware for sinks and basins. Such hoses will only be connected downstream of the obturator of the tapware. The tapware will comply with EN 2
24、00, EN 817, EN 1111, EN 1286 or EN 1287 (see 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6). Hoses intended to connect sanitary tapware to the water supplies are not covered by this standard. This European Standard specifies: the dimensional, mechanical and hydraulic characteristics with which the hose for extractable outlets s
25、hall comply; the procedures for testing these characteristics. Details of pressures and temperatures are given in Table 1. 38、th water intended for human consumption shall present no risk to health. They shall not cause any change of the drinking water in terms of quality, appearance, smell or taste. 6.2 Exposed surface condition and quality of coating Visible chromium plated surfaces and Ni-Cr coatings shall comply with t
39、he requirements of EN 248. 7 Dimensional characteristics 7.1 General General comment on design: the design and construction of components without defined dimensions permits various design solutions to be adopted by the manufacturer; permitted deviations from the defined dimensions are given in 7.3.

44、e with ISO standards; all other requirements of this standard are satisfied; the manufacturers literature, including the installation instructions supplied with the hoses for extractable outlets, indicates clearly that the hoses for extractable outlets are special cases. 46、t carried out during manufacture. 8.2 Flow rate 8.2.1 Test method This clause describes a method for testing the flow rate of hoses. 8.2.2 Principle The principle consists of a method for measuring the flow rate through the hoses for extractable outlets using cold water (T 30 C) in order to determin
47、e the flow rate class of the hose (see Table 1). The flow rate of hoses for extractable outlets with special connection (see 7.3) delivered together with the tapware is measured in combination with the complete sanitary tapware. 8.2.3 Apparatus The test apparatus is shown in Figure 6. 8.2.4 Procedur
48、e Connect the G size nut of the hose for extractable outlets to the pressure take-off tee, supporting the hose in a horizontal position; apply the required dynamic pressure using the horizontal axis of the hose as a datum; record the flow rate “Q“ (Table 1) after stabilisation. 8.2.5 Requirements Hoses for extractable outlets shall be classified according to the flow rate value “Q“ at the required pressure as
