19、cifies requirements for dimensions, pitch and location of T-slots on platens for projection welding machines. 2 Reference ISO 299, Machine tool tables T-slots and corresponding bolts. 3 Dimensions on T-slots The dimensions of T-slots in the platens of resistance welding machines shall be in accordan
20、ce with the indications given in the Table. NOTEWhen, in special circumstances, it is necessary to depart from the slot size given in the Table, the dimensions shall be in accordance with those given in ISO299. 4 Pitch, number and location of the T-slots The pitch of T-slots shall be63 0,5mm. The to
21、lerance of the total dimension between any two T-slots (regardless of the number of slots between) shall be 0,5mm. The number of T-slots shall be even. However, for small machines (i.e. with a maximum force of5kN), it is permissible to use platens with an odd number of slots where the central slot i
22、s located in the centre line of the platen. The lower slot shall be positioned at90relative to the upper slot. Whenever possible, it is recommended that the upper slots should be parallel to the throat. 5 Designation The relevant number of slots in a platen shall be specified after the reference ISO
