8、red under the direction of the General Mechanical Engineering Standards Policy Committee and is the English language version of EN22339:1992 Taper pins, unhardened, published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is identical with ISO2339:1986, published by the International Organi
9、zation for Standardization (ISO). EN22339:1992 was produced as a result of international discussion in which the UK took an active part. This British Standard supersedes BS5681:1979 which was identical with ISO2339:1974 and has been withdrawn in accordance with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations.

17、EN Technical Committee CEN/TC185 “Threaded and non threaded mechanical fasteners and accessories” the secretariat of which is held by DIN decided to submit the International Standard ISO2339:1986 “Taper pins, unhardened” to the formal vote procedure. The result was positive. In the countries bound t
18、o implement this European Standard a national standard identical to this European Standard shall be published at the latest by1993-01-31 and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by1993-01-31. 26、h a rust-preventative lubricant, unless otherwise specified by agreement between customer and supplier. Preferred coatings are black oxide, phosphate coating or zinc plating with chromate conversion coating (see ISO 2081 and ISO 4520). Other coatings as agreed between customer and supplier. All tole
27、rances shall apply prior to the application of a plating or coating. Workmanship Parts shall be uniform in quality and free of irregularities or detrimental defects. No burrs shall appear on any part of the pin. Taper The taper shall be inspected by use of an adequate optical comparator. Acceptabili
