(e.g. aluminium, copper) 4.1.2 Procedure At least five test specime
23、ns shall be tested in accordance with the method specified in ISO/R 402 with a rate of separation of the jaws of 100 mm 20 mm/min.1)At draft stage.- 5 - EN 50289-3-2:2001 4.2 Tensile strength and elongation at break for metals 4.2.1 Principle The test determines the percentage elongation at the time
24、 of break of a solid conductor with low elongation of about 1% (e.g. steel). 4.2.2 Test equipment An extensometer or other device suitable for measuring elongation of a gauge length of 250 mm shall be used. The equipment shall have a resolution not worse than 0,25 mm. 4.2.3 Procedure At least five t
25、est specimens shall tested. Each of them shall successively be fitted in the jaws of the testing machine and loaded to 10 percent of the minimum specified breaking load. An extensometer or other suitable device shall be attached to the test specimen to measure the extension. The elongation versus th

The rate of separation of the jaws shall not be greater than 100 mm 20 mm/min. Tests in which the fracture occurs within 25 mm apart from the jaws or extenso
27、meter clamps shall be disregarded and a repeat test shall be carried out 4.2.4 Expression of results The elongation at break shall be expressed as a percentage of the original sample length. Tensile load shall be expressed in N/mm. 5 Test report The test report shall include: - temperature, - sample
