21、54-1:1994 BSI 12-1999 3 Introduction This part of IEC454 is one of a series which deals with the characteristics of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical purposes. The series consists of three parts: Part1: General requirements (IEC454-1); Part2: Methods of test (IEC454-2); Part3: Specifi

They require no activation by water, solvent or heat to adhere to a variety of dissimilar surfaces upon contact, using
26、only light pressure 4 Classification and designation The tape shall be classified by: a) form and nature of backing (base) material; b) temperature index of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape(4.1); c) nature of adhesive(4.2); d) the addition of “2” at the end of the designation denotes that the tape i

Particular types of tape may be designated by using the code letters for the form and nature of backing material given in Table 1, followed by the figures for temperature index and code letters for the adhesive, as indicated in4.2. When unwound, the tape shall show negligible transfer of adhesive to the backing of the underlying turn, tearing of the backing (base), fraying or tearing of threads. 7 Dimensions 7.1 Core diameter The preferred internal diameters of the cores

Alternative widths may be used based on agreement between purchaser and supplier. 7.2.1 Tolerance on width The width shall not deviate by more

Closer tolerances than those stated can be specified in the individual specifications sheets, if needed. 7.3 Length The preferred lengths of tape on a roll are5m,10m,16m,20m,25m,33m,50m,55m,66m and82m.
