22、hylene film tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive 1 General 1.1 Scope This sheet of IEC 60454-3 contains the requirements for polytetrafluorethylene film tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the select
23、ion of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. 1.2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference i

28、055 mm with a temperature index of 180 and a silicone thermosetting adhesive. Type 2: Products having properties characteristic of a polytetrafluoroethylene film of nominal thickness 0,070 mm to 0,080 mm with a temperature index of 180 and a silicone thermosetting adhesive. 4egaP 1002:41345406NE 200

Type 4: Products having proper
30、ties characteristic of a polytetrafluoroethylene film of nominal thickness 0,045 mm to 0,055 mm with a bondable surface on the non-adhesive side of the film with a temperature index of 180 and a silicone thermosetting adhesive. Type 5: Products having properties characteristic of a polytetrafluoroet
31、hylene film of nominal thickness 0,045 mm to 0,055 mm with a temperature index of 155 and an acrylic cross-linked adhesive. 2.2 The products shall be designated as follows: Type 1: IEC 60454-3-14-1/F-PTFE/180/S-Tc Type 2: IEC 60454-3-14-2/F-PTFE/180/S-Tc Type 3: IEC 60454-3-14-3/F-PTFE/180/S-Tc Type
32、 4: IEC 60454-3-14-4/F-PTFE/180/S-Tc Type 5: IEC 60454-3-14-5/F-PTFE/155/A-Tx 3 Requirements 3.1 All applicable requirements of IEC 60454-1 shall apply to material furnished under this specification. 3.2 The physical and electrical properties of products supplied according to this specification shal
33、l be within the limits listed in tables 1 and 2 when tested in accordance with the test methods listed therein. 3.3 Thermal endurance When required by the purchaser, the manufacturer shall provide evidence that, when tested in accordance with clause 21 of IEC 60454-2, the product has a temperature i
34、ndex of not less than 180 for types 1, 2, 3, and 4; and 155 for type 5. The exposure temperatures are 200 C, 225 C and 250 C for types 1, 2, 3, and 4; and 170 C, 190 C and 210 C for type 5. The end-point criteria used shall be: breakdown voltage: 1,5 kV for types 1, 4, and 5; 2,0 kV for type 2; and
35、3,5 kV for type 3 (metal-foil electrode). 4 Test methods All tests shall be conducted in accordance with the appropriate clauses and subclauses of IEC 60454-2. 5 Marking, labelling, and packaging Unless otherwise specified, all marking, labelling, and packaging shall be in accordance with the requir
