The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee GEL/15, Insulating materials, to Subcommittee GEL/15/3, Material specifications, which has the responsibility to: aid enquirers to understand t

4、he text; present to the responsible international/European committee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them in the UK. A list of organizations represented on this su

5、bcommittee can be obtained on request to its secretary. From 1 January1997, all IEC publications have the number60000 added to the old number. For instance, IEC27-1 has been renumbered as IEC60027-1. For a period of time during the change over from one numbering system to the other, publications may

22、rposes. The series consists of three parts: Part 1: Definitions and general requirements (IEC60684-1); Part 2: Methods of test (IEC60684-2); Part 3: Specifications for individual types of sleeving (IEC60684-3). This standard gives one of the sheets comprising part 3 as follows: Sheet 151: Extruded P

23、VC/nitrile rubber General purpose. 1 Scope This sheet of IEC60684-3 gives the requirements for non-heat-shrinkable sleeving, extruded from compounds based on a blend of polyvinyl chloride and acrylonitrile elastomers. Sleeving of this type is normally available with internal diameter up to25mm, and

24、in the following opaque colours: black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey, white, pink and green/yellow. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this sheet of IEC60684-3. Non-standard colours shall be written out in full. 4 R
