7、ion of EN60730-1, “Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use Part1: General requirements”, published by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC). It was derived by that organization from IEC Publication730-1(1986) first edition, which has the same title
8、 as the European Standard. The CENELEC common modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text of IEC Publication730-1(1986) first edition as amended by Amendment No.1(1990) and Amendment No.2(1991) and are indicated by a sidline in the margin. The foreword and preface of IE
9、C Publication730-1(1986) first edition as amended by Amendment No.1(1990) and Amendment No.2(1991) and the deleted parts of the original IEC text which do not form part of the text of EN60730-1have been quoted in National appendix NA. Annexes designated “normative” are part of the body of the standa
10、rd. Annexes designated “informative” are given for information only. National appendices are designated “informative”. References to page numbers in the text are to page numbers in IEC730-1(1986) and should be ignored for the purposes of this British Standard. This British Standard incorporates amen
11、dments EN60730-1/A1(1991), EN60730-1/A11(1991), EN60730-1/A12(1993) and EN60730-1/A14(1995). Particular requirements for specific controls will be specified in subsequent Partsof BSEN60730. Such controls have been specified in BS3955 “Specification for electrical controls for household and similar g
12、eneral purposes”. As the subsequent Parts of BSEN60730 are published, BS3955 will be progressively amended to delete specific controls at the dates of withdrawal agreed. Amend the text of European Standard EN60730-1 as follows. In 4.1.5, line 2 delete “and 17.13”. In 17.8.4, in the last line, delete

25、or the acceptance as European Standard. The reference document, together with the common modifications prepared by the CENELEC Technical Committee TC72: Automatic controls for household use, was submitted to the CENELEC members for formal vote. The text of the draft was approved by CENELEC on11 Sept
26、ember1990. The following dates were fixed: For products which have complied with the relevant national standard before1995-07-01 as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to apply for production until1999-07-01. This document supplements or modifies
27、 the corresponding clauses of IEC730-1:1986, so as to convert it into the European Standard EN60730-1. 40、ls for household use, were submitted to the CENELEC members for formal vote as draft amendments prAA, prAB, prAC and prAD to EN60730-1. All four documents received sufficient positive votes for submission to the Technical Board for ratification. Amendment No.2 to IEC Publication730-1 will include th
41、e above referenced Central Office documents. However, because of delays in printing this amendment, it has been found necessary to issue the present amendment to EN60730-1 as amendment A11. When IEC Amendment No.2 becomes available, CENELEC/TC72 will discuss this amendment again with the object of r
42、e-issuing it as an endorsement of IEC Amendment No.2. The separate sections of this document will then be eliminated. 44、o amendment A12 This amendment A12 to EN60730-1:1991 has been prepared by the CENELEC Technical Committee TC72: Automatic controls for household use. It was agreed for submission to the CENELEC formal vote at the meeting of CLC/TC72 in Brussels on26 and27 November1991. At that meeting it was conside
45、red necessary to issue a correction to clause 6 of EN60730-1. At that same meeting, a proposal from the Danish Committee (CLC/TC72(DK)5) to delete note12 to Table 20.1 because this is a North American requirement which should not have appeared in theEN, was accepted. The text of the draft was approv
46、ed by CENELEC asamendment A12 to EN60730-1 on9December1992.
