21、 PURPOSES Part 1: Definitions, designations and general requirements 1 Scope This part of IEC 60893 contains the definitions related to, and the general requirements to be fulfilled by, industrial rigid laminated sheets for electrical purposes, made with any of the following resins as the binder: ep
22、oxy (epoxide), melamine, phenolic, polyimide, silicone and unsaturated polyester. The following reinforcements may be used either singly or in combination; cellulosic paper, cotton cloth, glass cloth, glass roving, glass mat, polyester cloth and wood veneers. Materials which conform to this specific
23、ation meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. 2 Normative references The following re

35、requirements All material in any one consignment shall have properties within the limits of this standard. 5.1 Appearance The laminates shall be free from blisters, wrinkles and cracks, and reasonably free from other defects, for example scratches, dents, ripples and discoloration. A small amount of

Sheets shall be supplied in the trimmed condition, unless otherwise specified in the relevant Part 3 specification or as agreed between purchaser and supplier. 5.3 Thickness The nominal th

The deviation from the nominal thickness of a sheet measured according to IEC 60893-2, shall not exceed the appropriate value specified in Part 3. 6 Conditions of supply The ma

The IEC designation of the material and the number of sheets or the mass shall be clearly marked on the outside of each package. Where different types of sheets are contained in th

Where marking is carried out with a stamp, the stamping ink used shall not impair the electrical properties of the material. Page6 EN60
