27、 according to the sectional specification IEC917-2. The dimensions in the tables of this detail specification are a selection from the sectional specification IEC917-2. All other sizes from the sectional specification are valid in this detail specification provided the relationship between the dimen

28、sions is maintained, i.e. the dimensional difference between the co-ordination dimensions H C , W Cand D Cand dimensions H C0 , H C1 , H C2 ; W C0 , W C1and D C0 , D C1shown in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 are to be maintained. The purpose of this publication is the specification of dimensions which

29、 will ensure mechanical interchangeability of cabinets and racks, and ensure mechanical interchangeability for subrack mounting. Cabinets and racks can be arranged together to form larger operating units. Application of specific cabinets or racks, attachments and accessories, such as heat exchangers

30、, control elements, switches, etc. does not form part of this specification. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this section of IEC917-2. 35、reparation) 3 Arrangement overview For details of subracks and front panels, seeIEC917-2-2. 4 Dimensions The cabinet and rack dimensions for height, width and depth have been taken from the relevant tables in the sectional specification IEC917-2 (see4.1.1.1). The cabinets and racks do not need to co

36、nform with the figures illustrated; only the specified dimensions shall be used. In the case of unspecified dimensions and tolerances the manufacturer is free to choose according to his requirements. Two versions of racks and cabinets are tabulated in4.1.3 to permit both light-duty (version1) and ru

37、ggedized applications (version2). 4.1 Cabinets 4.1.1 Type A cabinets Type A cabinets shall contain within their outside dimensions all protrusions, e.g. covers, adjustable feet, permanently fitted lifting aids, etc. The use of mounting flanges is optional. 4.1.1.1 If other dimensions are used, then

38、they shall be taken from the sectional specification IEC 917-2. In such cases the relationship between co- ordination dimensions H C , W C , D Cand dimensions H C0 , H C1 , H C2 ; W C0 , W C1 , W C2 , W C3 ; D C0 , D C1shown in Table 1, Table 2, Table 3 shall be maintained. 4.1.1.2 When mounting fla

39、nges are used they have a preferred depth position as defined inFigure 2, detailX. Other or additional mounting flange positions to the front or near of the preferred position are to be on pitches of 25mm (n mp1). 4.1.1.3 The cabinet dimensions H C0 , W C0and D C0including all their tolerances shall
