25、i-rigid r.f. cables (96IEC50-1-. and96 IEC50-2-.). 37、act gauge Gauge A shall be inserted once only into the socket centre contact. This is a sizing operation. After this, gauge B shall be inserted into the socket centre contact. The contact shall support the mass of the gauge in a vertical downward attitude. Additional test Following the sizing operat
38、ion, and if prescribed in the detail specification (DS), the force necessary to insert gauge A fully into the socket centre contact shall be measured. When this test is required, the maximum permitted insertion force shall then be specified and shall not exceed11N. NOTEGauge A is used for qualificat
39、ion approval tests only. The minimum diameter of gauge A corresponds to the maximum diameter of a plug pin contact. 41、ensions of outer contact gauge The sizing gauge A representing maximum material (smallest diameters) is applied once only as in the standard procedure, but the force to remove the gauge should also be measured. The maximum force to remove the gauge should be20N (2 kg). The retention force gauge B re
42、presenting minimum material (largest diameters) is then applied. Mass of the gauge to be800g and the gauge to be retained in the vertical downward attitude. Additional test At the conclusion of the tests and if prescribed in the DS, the force necessary to insert gauge A shall be measured. When this
