22、 approval procedure. 27、to this specification shall be authorized by the NSI for listing on the QPL under the capability approval procedure in accordance with11.7.7 of IECQC001002. 2.2 Classification Components and cable assemblies furnished to this specification shall be classified by assessment level 1) . In addition, th
28、ey may be classified by climatic and environmental categories. 2.2.1 Climatic category Climatic category is defined in Appendix A of IEC68-1. The following are preferred values which may be specified. 2.3 Documentation 2.3.1 Specification system This specification is part of a four-level IECspecific
29、ation system. Subsidiary specifications consist of sectional specifications and detail specifications (according to IEC Guide102). Sectional specifications shall be prepared for each subfamily of components. The specification shall contain: 1) Any additional requirements peculiar to the subfamily. 2
30、) Any additional quality assessment procedures peculiar to the subfamily. 3) Any standard or preferred values and severities which are peculiar to the subfamily. 4) The minimum mandatory test schedules for the subfamily. 5) One or more blank detail specifications. 33、ription of capability(3.2.1) shall define gauges as required. 2.3.3 Test data sheets Prepare test data sheets for each test conducted to the capability test programme. Include the data sheets in the capability approval report(3.2.8) and in the periodic inspection report(3.3.2.3). Include the followi
34、ng minimum information in each data sheet: title of test and date; a complete description of the capability qualifying component(s) including the type of fibre, the type of cable, and the components; test equipment used and date of latest calibration; all applicable test details; all measurement val
35、ues and observations; sufficiently detailed documentation to provide traceable information for failure analysis(see3.2.6 and3.3.2.4). 2.3.4 Safety warnings Each detail specification shall include the following warning: “Care should be taken when handling small diameter optical fibre to prevent punct
36、uring the skin, especially in the eye area. Direct viewing of an optical fibre, when it is propagating energy, is not recommended unless prior assurance has been obtained as to the safe energy output level”. 2.4 Design and construction 2.4.1 Materials 2.4.1.1 Corrosion resistance All materials used
37、in the construction of components or cable assemblies shall be corrosion resistant or shall be suitably finished to meet the requirements of the detail specification. 2.4.1.2 Non-flammable materials When non-flammable materials are required, the requirement shall be specified in the detail specifica
38、tion and IEC695-2-2 shall be referenced. 2.4.2 Workmanship Components or cable assemblies shall be manufactured to a uniform quality. The appropriate manufacturers instructions for use shall be followed when applying components to the fibre/cable. Particular attention shall be given to neatness and
39、thoroughness of marking, soldering, bonding, etc. 2.5 Quality assessment The quality assessment procedures of clause3 shall control the quality of components and cable assemblies covered by this specification. 2.6 Identification and marking Components, cable assemblies, associated hardware and packa
40、ges shall be permanently and legibly marked as required by the detail specification. 2.6.1 Component or cable assembly marking The preferred order of marking for components or cable assemblies is: 1) manufacturers identification mark; 2) manufacturing date code; 3) manufacturers part number. 2.6.2 P
41、ackage marking The preferred order of marking components or cable assemblies is: 1) manufacturers identification mark; 2) manufacturers part number; 3) manufacturing date code (year/week)(seeISO8601); 4) assessment level(s); 5) climatic category; 6) environmental category; 7) additional marking requ
42、ired by the detail specification. 3 Quality assessment procedures Procedures for quality assessment and release of components or cable assemblies consist of: capability approval(2.1); quality conformance inspection(3.3). 3.1 Primary stage of manufacture The primary stage of manufacture for component
43、s or cable assemblies covered by this specification is defined at the manufacturing stage when the parts which make up the individual component or cable assembly are aggregated into the product defined in the detail specification. Subcontracting of the primary stage and subsequent stages is permitte
44、d.EN61313-1:1997 BSI 03-2000 5 3.2 Capability approval procedures 3.2.1 Description of capability The manufacturer shall prepare a description of capability in accordance with11.7.3.2 of IECQC001002. The description shall include: a) the limits of capability; b) the design rules; c) a process flow c
45、hart, including inspection points; d) a list of the specifications for the material and parts used; e) a list of the specifications for the inspections to be carried out; f) a list of the fibres, cables, and components by manufacturers part number. 3.2.2 Capability qualifying component The capabilit
46、y qualifying component may consist of a complete component or cable assembly or any individual subassembly or test piece which will demonstrate the limits of capability defined in the description of capability(3.2.1). 3.2.3 Capability test programme The manufacturer shall provide a capability test p
47、rogramme in accordance with11.7.3.3 of IECQC001002. The programme shall include: a) a description of the CQCs to be used as specimens in the capability approval tests, including instructions for use(see3.2.2); b) a description of the counterpart components 2) ; c) the test schedules for capability a
48、pproval and a test plan. The test plan shall include a complete schedule of test events along with the test requirements; d) the assessment level; e) the climatic category, if specified; f) the environmental category, if specified; g) the test schedules as specified in the applicable sectional speci
49、fication for periodic inspection of the CQCs (groups C and D) and a test plan. Thetest plan shall include a complete schedule of test events, together with the test requirements. The manufacturer shall obtain approval for the test programme from the NSI. 3.2.4 Preparation of specimens The CQCs shall be prepared for testing according to the instructions for use defined in the capability test programme(3.2.3). 3.2.5 Capability approval testing Manufacturers shall conduct the tests in the order given and to the met
