19、 CONNECTOR INTERFACES Part 21: Type SMI connector family for plastic optical fibre 1 Scope This part of IEC 61754 defines the standard interface dimensions for the type SMI (small multimedia interface) family of connectors. 2 Description Type SMI connectors are duplex plug connectors which are chara
20、cterised by a 5,0 mm pitch, and 2,5 mm ferrule diameter. Type SMI connector family includes two type plugs: plugs with push-pull latching mechanism type, and plugs with friction-lock coupling mechanism type. 3 Interfaces The subsequent pages define the standard interfaces for the SMI connector famil
