17、therthanzero,isanindicationofareddishorgreenishhuehavingshiftedaway fromabluish(neutral)huewithadominantwavelengthof466nm.Theformulaeforcalculationof whitenessandtintarethoserecommendedbytheCIE 1) . 1.3 Becausereflectanceisaffectedbythenatureofthesurfaceofthetextile,comparisonscanbemade onlybetweens

18、pecimensofthesametypeoftextile. 1.4Theapplicationoftheformulaeisrestrictedtospecimensthatarecalled“white“commercially,thatdo notdiffermuchincolourandfluorescenceandthataremeasuredonthesameinstrumentatnearlythesame time.Withintheserestrictions,theformulaeproviderelative,butnotabsolute,evaluationsofwh

30、ecifiedgeometries(45/0,0/45)as definedinISO105J01( d/0,0/ d).Whenintegratingspheresareusedformeasuringfluorescentspecimens, thespectralpowerdistributionoftheilluminatingsystemisalteredbythereflectedandemittedpowerfrom thespecimen.Theuseofthe45/0or0/45conditionisthereforepreferable.Ifanintegratingsph

EN ISO 105-J02:19995 7 Procedure 7.1Beforeproceedingwithcolourmeasurements,determinewhetherornotatestspecimencontainsFWA byviewingaspecimeninadarkroomun

34、derultravioletlight.AtestspecimenthatcontainsFWAwill fluoresceundertheUVlight.Proceedasfollows. a)Iffluorescentwhiteningagents(FWAs)arepresentonthetextilematerial,makethemeasurement withaninstrumentthatilluminatesthespecimenwithpolychromaticlight(fullspectrum)andhasarelative spectralpowerdistributio

35、napproximatingCIEIlluminantD 65 from330nmto700nm(seeannexA). Consultinstrumentmanufacturersforsuitableequipment.Alsoverifythesuitabilityoftheinstrumentif flashilluminationisbeingused. b) ForthedeterminationofanapproximaterelativeefficiencyofanFWA,aninstrumentwhich permitstheinsertionofanultravioletc

36、utofffilterintotheincidentlightbeammaybeused. c) IfthetestspecimendoesnotcontainanFWA,themeasurementmaybemadeonaninstrument whichilluminatesitwitheitherpolychromaticormonochromaticlightandthespectralpowerdistributionof theilluminationwillnotaffecttheresultsobtained. NOTEThedifferencebetweenthemeasur
