21、derproduces.Itshallbedividedbystraightlinesdrawninbothaxesatintervalsofone-eighthofthelengthof thelongaxis,fromthecentreoftheframe.Diagonallinesshallconnecttheoppositecornersoftheframeandthe midpointsofthesidesoftheframe. 4.2 Testframeforcheckingresolution,legibilityanddensity Thetestframe(seeFigure
22、2)shallcomprise: a) patternscomposedoffive-linegroupswithaletterbesideeachgrouptoidentifyit.Thespacialfrequencyof thelineswithinthefive-linegroupsshallbechosentoensurethatthepointofresolutionfailureoccurswithin therange;ISO11928-1:2000(E) 2 b) groupsoflower-caseletter“e”invarioussizes,withanumeralbe
23、sideeachgrouptoidentifyit.Thesizesofthe letter“e”shallbechosentoensurethatthepointoflegibilityfailureoccurswithintherange; c) anareaexposedbytheCOMrecordertoproduceanareasufficienttomeasureminimumdensity.
