The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for

10、 which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on a

11、ll matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2. The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are

14、 first edition of ISO 13990-1, together with ISO 13990-2 and ISO 13990-3, cancels and replaces ISO 13990:1996, of which it constitutes a technical revision. 16、is part of ISO 13990 establishes a vocabulary of basic terms relating to yarn feeders and yarn control of single thread for knitting machines. The figures illustrate solely the working principles of the various types of yarn feeder and yarn control. They do not represent the only, or even the most c

17、ommon, designs. NOTE In addition to terms and definitions used in two of the three official ISO languages (English and French), this part of ISO 13990 gives the equivalent terms and definitions in the German language; these are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN).
