The maximum allowable temperature and/or the design differential pressure may be limited by restrictions in the pressure/temperature ratings of materials used for certain components like the fluoropolymer lining materials.Restrictions shall be marked on t
32、he valve by the manufacturer (see Clause 6).For temperatures below the lowest temperature listed in the pressure/temperature tables, the working pressure shall be no greater than the pressure for the lowest listed temperature. The use of valves at lower temperatures is the responsibility of the user

Consideration should be given to the loss of ductility and impact strength of materials at low temperature.5 Design5.1 Body wall thicknessThe minimum body wall thickness shall be determined using the standards indicated in Table 2.For pressure-temperature ratings of the valve bodies outside the si
34、ze ranges of the referenced standards of Table 2, design and calculations for pressure-containing elements shall be in accordance with an internationally recognized design code or standards with consideration of pipe loads, operating forces, etc. The choice of standard shall be by agreement.NOTE An

37、the valve body and closure element to ensure the proper fixation of the liner in both the axial and radial flow directions.5.4 Minimum lining thicknessThe minimum lining thickness shall be 2,5 mm on all media wetted surfaces, as well on the end flange sealing faces.5.5 ShaftThe shaft lining shall be
38、 continued above the primary shaft seal.The shaft design shall be blow-out proof.5.6 Dimension and tolerances of body ends5.6.1 Dimensions of flangesBody end of PN-designated valves shall be capable of mating with connecting flanges complying with the requirements of EN 1092-1 and EN 1092-2.Body end
39、 of Class-designated valves shall be capable of mating with connecting flanges complying with the requirements of ASME B16.5 for NPS 24 or ASME B16.47 for NPS 24.In case of valve size outside the scope of EN 1092-1, EN 1092-2, ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, another flange standard may be used by agreeme
40、nt between the manufacturer and the purchaser.5.6.2 Face-to-face dimensionsThe face-to-face dimensions shall be in accordance with ISO 5752, unless otherwise specified in the purchasing documents. The basic series required shall be specified by the purchaser.In case of valve configuration outside th
41、e ranges covered by ISO 5752, the face-to-face dimensions may be defined by agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser.Tolerances on face-to-face dimensions shall be in accordance with ISO 5752.5.6.3 Flange facing type and dimensionFigure 1 shows two typical flange face lining designs.4 IS

They shall be placed on the valve body or on an attached plate.b) For all nominal diameters, t
44、he following markings are required: design differential pressure; item 5 of ISO 5209:1977 if required by the valve type; item 6 of ISO 5209:1977 if required by the valve type; item 7 of ISO 5209:1977 if the valve application is restricted.NOTE Markings 8 to 19 of ISO 5209:1977 are optional.Each Clas

46、es, when inspected. The linings shall fit properly inside the housings with no delamination.The gasket seating surface of the lining shall be free of surface defects that could impair sealing effectiveness. Scratches, dents, nicks, or tool marks on the seating surface shall not be deeper than 10 % o
47、f the face lining thickness and the length shall not exceed more than 20 % of the sealing surface.in the radial direction.7.1.2 Porosity testAll non-conductive lined components shall be tested between 15 kV and 25 kV spark test to make sure the lining is not porous, according to EN 14879-4:2007, 9.4
48、.6.7.1.3 Anti-static testElectrical conductivity between the obturator and the body of the valve shall be tested in accordance with EN 12266-2:2012, F21 and F22.7.2 Pressure testEach valve shall be pressure-tested in accordance with ISO 5208. All pressure tests shall be in accordance with ISO 5208:2
