11、015ISO 7215:2015(E)ForewordISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a sub
12、ject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (I
13、EC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. The procedures used to develop this document and those intended for its further maintenance are described in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 1. In particular the different approval criteria needed for the different types of ISO documents should be
14、noted. This document was drafted in accordance with the editorial rules of the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2 (see www.iso.org/directives).Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifyi

19、 the behaviour of iron ores, including reducibility, disintegration, crushing strength, apparent density, etc. This method was developed to provide a uniform procedure, validated by collaborative testing, to facilitate comparisons of tests made in different laboratories. The results of this test have
20、 to be considered in conjunction with other tests used to evaluate the quality of iron ores as feedstocks for blast furnace processes. This International Standard can be used to provide test results as part of a production quality control system, as a basis of a contract, or as part of a research pro

The final degree of reduction is calculated from the oxygen mass loss after 180 min (R180).5 Sampling, sample preparation, and preparation of test portions5.1 Sampling and sample preparationS

Testing shall be carried out in a well ventilated area or under a hood. Precautions should be taken for the safety of the operator, in accordance with the safety codes of ea

After 180 min of reduction, record the mass loss of the test portion (m), turn off the power and stop the flow of the reducing gas. Introduce
