10、 each application shall include a publicly available complete description of the MHEG Registered Object to be identified; 1 ISOAEC 13522-4: 1996(E) 0 ISO/IEC 5 Withdrawal Procedure c) where required, to indicate to the Applicant the non technical changes needed to meet requirements of (b) above with

11、in 30 days of receipt of the application; d) to transmit, as soon as possible within 30 days, the proposal to the SC 29 WG 12 convener who will appoint three members of the WG to review the technical features of the proposal within 30 days; e) the review panel will accept or reject the application p

12、roposal and inform the Registration Authority of its decision with reason given for rejection. The Registration Authority will notify the applicant of the decision. If the application for registration is denied, the Registration Authority will inform the applicant of the reason for denial and the ap

13、peal procedure as provided in clause 8; f) to assign the identifier; g) to promulgate to all the national bodies and liaison organizations of IS0 and IEC the meaning that has been assigned to each identifier. 4.1 It is the responsibility of the Applicant to provide information to the Registration Au

14、thority about the proposed object according to the following scheme: 0 name of applicant 0 address of applicant 0 if applicant is an organisation, the name, title, postal/electronic mail address, telephone/ facsimile/telex number of a contact person within the organisation 0 a technical description

15、of the object to be registered 0 the classification, and category (the name domain) in which the object is to be registered 0 indication of information that is updatable l date of last update 0 the syntax associated with the implementation of the entity 0 the semantics of the entity. Two sample form

16、s for: 1. Registration Application and 2. 17、 Entitv Number Seauence j 2 NOTE - Registerable entity categories (MHEG Registered Objects) in 15.1 of ISOAEC 13522-1. 51 Withdrawal is a formal declaration by which the Applicant informs the Registration Authority that it withdraws its support of the MHEG Registered Object. 52 Such a declaration ma

18、y, but need not, be accompanied by a statement with the reasons for the withdrawal. 5.3 The Registration Authority shall inform the interested parties of the reception of such declaration. 5.4 Withdrawals have no effect on the MHEG Registered Object which shall remain in the register and continue to

19、 be identified by the allocated identifier. 5.5 Names assigned by the Registration Authority for objects withdrawn will not be reused. 6 Correction Procedure 61 Entry errors, for example typographical ekors, shall be corrected by the Registration Authority as soon as detected. 62 shall be Corrected

20、issued. and dated pages of the register 7 Revision Procedure 7.1 In general, no changes to registrations are permitted as this would be contrary to the principles on which the registration scheme is based. 7.2 The Registration Authority may exceptionally grant a waiver to international, governmental

21、 organisations issuing internationally recognized and worldwide implemented standards. However, the possibility of a registration may be modified in future without allocation of a new identifier but shall be mentioned in the first application papers and in the register. 8 Appeal Procedure Appeal aga

22、inst decisions of the Authori ty can be made as fol lows: Registration 81 Appeal by an Applicant can be made if it disagrees with the Registration Authority on whether the application meets the requirements of clause 4, item (b) or (e) 82 Appeal shall be filed with the Registration Authority by regi

23、stered mail - within 30 days of reception of the refusal of the Registration Authority; 2 ISOAEC 13522=4:1996(E) 0 ISO/IEC 83 Appeals shall be submitted by the Registration Authority within 30 days after reception to the members of the Advisory Group (see Annex C). If the matter cannot be resolved b

24、y the Advisory Group, the appeal shall be submitted to the P-members of the WG 12 for vote according to the voting rules of the Directives for the work of ISOIIEC JTC 1. 9 Applicants 91 Applications for the allocation of an identifier may be made by the following, which for the purposes of this part

25、 of ISO/IEC 13522 are Applicants: a) any IS0 or IEC technical committee or sub- committee; b) any group within the lSO/IEC JTC 1 sub- committee concerned with Coding of Multimedia and Hypermedia Information, appointed by the subcommittee; c) any national IEC; body that is a member of IS0 or d) any i

26、nternational organisation having an A- liaison with an IS0 or IEC technical committee or subcommittees. NOTE - This part of the ISO/IEC 13522 requires only that an application for registration meets the requirements of clause 4, item (b). But the Applicant is free to specify additional requirements

Example: The attribute fontsize, which can be set and retrieved by the elementary actions: - SetCataloguedAttribute - GetCataloguedAttribute, respectively, allows for controlling the presentatio

33、n of textual content with respect to character size. The units in which its value is to be interpreted are points. The value 0 means that it is up to the MHEG engine (or presentation tools) which fontsize is to be used for rendering the text content. Note that this is also the default behaviour as l

34、ong as this attribute is not set explicitly. If the requested fontsize cannot be supported, it shall be replaced by the closest available one. If the application of the requested fontsize value results in a rendering of the associated text content, which does not fit into the Original Presentation S

35、pace (OPS) of the n-content object, it shall be rendered into the OPS in the usual way until available space is exhausted; in other words, clipping shall be applied to trailing parts of the text. Constraints for application (e.g. under which conditions to be applied or ignored.) Example: This attrib
