29、es.BA.1 Power ranges (See Table 1)The power ranges specified in this Standard reflect the historical increase in both tractor power andimplement size. Large fully mounted implements require an additional power range.BA.2 Light and heavy duty (See Clause 1)This Standard recognizes the need for a ligh

30、t-duty and a heavy-duty hitch category in the Category 4power range in Table 1.BA.3 Upper link attachment points (See Clause 4.1.2)This Standard recognizes that implements are generally divided into two classes:(a) those requiring near-parallel lift; and(b) those requiring maximum tail clearance whe

31、n fully raised.For this reason, Clause 4.1.2 specifies two different upper link attachment points for the tractor.BA.4 Lower PTO hitch point (See Tables 2 and 3)The dimensions specified in Table 2 of this Standard for the lateral distance from the PTO to the lowerhitch point (dimension “L”), with th

32、e lower link horizontal, overlap the specifications for Category 1 and 2 machinery in ASAE S217.12. For Category 3 and 4 machinery, the minimum dimensions in Table 3 of this Standard are 16 mm shorter than the maximum dimensions specified in ASAE S217.12. As a result, Category 3 and 4 machinery inte

33、nded for use in North America should be designed to theminimum hitch point dimensions in Table 3. This will ensure backward compatibility of new tractors witholder implements.BA.5 Minimum height of highest position (See Table 3)Tractor tires have become larger over time. Although this trend has been
