16、e switched off (influenced) by the user and that may persist for an indefinite time when the appliance is connected to the main electricity supply and used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. For purposes of this specification, Sleep Mode is defined as the time when the product is con

17、nected to a power source, produces neither sound nor picture, neither transmits nor receives program information and/or data (excluding data transmitted to change the units condition from Sleep Mode to On Mode), and is waiting to be switched to On Mode by a direct or indirect signal from the consume

EPA is in the harmonizing future documents with the term, “Sleep Mode”. 3.2 On Mode Power: The product is connected to a power sourc

19、e and produces sound and a picture. 3.3 Disconnected: The product is disconnected from all external power sources. 4 Power Measurement 4.1 General Measurement Conditions: Sleep Mode measurements shall be performed under the conditions described in IEC 62301 Ed. 1.0, Section 4, “General Conditions fo

20、r Measurements”. On Mode measurements shall be performed under the conditions described in IEC 62087 Ed. 2.0, sub clause 5.1, “General measuring conditions”, and sub clause 11.4, “General measurement procedure for On (average) mode” and sub clause 11.6 “On (average) mode testing using dynamic broadc

For instance, when reporting power consumption within the United States, the television shall be tested at 11

23、EA-2037 An available current crest factor of 3 or more at its rated range value, and lower bound on the current range of 10mA or less. The power measurement instrument shall have a resolution of 0.01 W or better for power measurements of 10 W or less; 0.1 W or better for power measurements of greate

24、r than 10 W up to 100 W; and 1 W or better for power measurements of greater than 100 W. In addition, the test instrument should have these following attributes: Frequency response of at least 3 kHz Calibration with a standard that is traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technol

25、ogy (NIST) or calibration to a traceable national standard. Capable of integrating energy over any user selected time interval with an energy resolution of less than or equal to 0.1 mWh and integrating time displayed with a resolution of 1 second or less. 4.3 Measurement Accuracy Measurements of pow

Measurements of power of less than 0.5 W shall be made with an uncertainty of less than or equal to 0.01 W at the 95% confidence level. Note: For more information about the determination

27、 of uncertainty of measurement, refer to IEC 62301:2005, Annex D. All power figures shall be reported in watts and rounded to the second decimal place. For loads greater than or equal to 10 W, three significant figures shall be reported. 4.4 Measurement Procedure 4.4.1 Settings The device under test

28、 shall be set as originally shipped in manufacturer default settings. For devices where initial installation requires choice of setting profiles (e.g., ENERGY STAR “Forced Menu” mode, see ENERGY STAR 3.0, section 4.E.2.d), the device shall be set to “Home” or standard mode. If the device under test

29、has a CableCARD feature, tests shall be conducted with the CableCARD module slot unpopulated. 4.4.2 Sleep Mode Power Sleep Mode power (Psleep_mode) shall be measured as described in IEC 62301 Ed 1.0: Household Electrical Appliances Measurement of Standby Power. Measurements shall be conducted at fac

34、enabled by default For televisions that include an automatic brightness control feature that is enabled by default, the device shall initially be tested in a room with a minimum ambient light level of 300 lux at the sensor to obtain the Po_broadcast measurement. A second measurement shall subsequent
