Withthedevelopmentoffuturemobilecommunicationsystemstowa
27、rdsUMTS/IMT2000thebottleneckof narrowbanddatacommunicationmightfade.Duetoitsmodularstructure,theGATSframeworkand applicationsarepreparedforthatduetoitsnetworkindependence.Thesameholdsforemerging technologiesforpositioningwhichtodayisalmostexclusivelybasedonGPS.
