2、nd Telecommunications Administrations, Considesing - the common CEPT approach to the ISDN and general CEPT assumptions and policies for the evolution towards ISDN; - the I. Series Recommendations of the CCITT, as well as other CCITT Recommendations on ISDN, to which CEPT Administrations have contrib
3、uted most significantly; - the need for CEPT Administrations to have more precise answers to their specific European requirements, i.e. to select and further define material from CCITT Recommendations; - the need for CEPT Administrations to have as a base a comprehensive set of Recommendations, in o
4、rder to promote and strengthen European harmonisation. Recommends - to the members of the CEPT, that they evolve their telecommunication network towards ISDN according to the e following guidelines and specifications.” CCITT Recommendation I. 112 consists primarily of terms and definitions that are
5、considered essential to the understanding and the application of ISDN principles. Therefore it also applies to Europe without the need for further addition or alteration. If new terms appear in CEPT Recommendations they will be introduced into this Recommendation at a later stage. Edition of September 15, 1985
