Series Recommendations of the CCITT, as well as other CCITT Recommendations on ISDN, to which CEPT Adminis
3、trations have contributed most significantly; - the need for CEPT Administrations to have more precise answers to their specific European requirements, i.e. to select and further define material from CCIT Recommendations; - the need for CEPT Administrations to have as a base a comprehensive set of R
4、ecommendations, in order to promote and strengthen European harmonisation. Recommends - to the member Administrations of the CEPT, that they evolve their telecommunication networks towards ISDN e according to the following guidelines and specifications.” CCITT Recommendations 1.460,1.461,1.462, and 1,463 which deal with multiplexing, rate adaption and support of existing interfaces are applicable in Europe. 1.464 which deals with rate adaption multiplexing and support of existing interfaces for restricted 64 kbit/s transfer capability is deleted.
