2、dation proposed by the “Radiocommunications” Working Group T/WG 3 (R) Revised text of the Recommendation adopted by the “Telecommunications” Commission: “The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations, considering (a) that the use of such equipment is widespread and regulat
3、ions vary from one country to another, (b) that their owners travel or stay temporarily in foreign countries, which causes administrative problems, (c) that it is desirable for Administrations to have common regulations in order to reduce these difficulties, (d) that it is advisable that these commo
4、n regulations be kept to a minimum in order that they might be quickly and (e) that these regulations should provide for the possibility of taking into account restrictions which Administrations easily put into force, might want to apply against the use of such equipment originating in other countri
5、es, recommends that CEPT members that the necessary measures, described hereunder, to facilitate the temporary use of PR 27 equipment (mobile or portable by occasional visitors to their country. Each Administration should, at the request of an Administration, allow the temporary use in its country o
6、f appliances PR 27 the use of which is authorised/permitted on the territory of the requesting Administration. On the basis of agreements made in accordance with paragraph 1 ., an Administration should enter on its licence form or on a document appended to it an indication that the use of PR 27 appl
7、iances is authorised during a temporary stay in the countries with which agreements have been concluded. The names of the countries concerned should be shown on the licence. The licence form (or its insert) should bear the following inscription in at least three languages: “Licence for the use of a
8、27 MHz transmitter-receiver (PR 27 equipment); the equipment may be used temporarily in the following countries .”. Administrations will have to devise some simple method which will enable them to check that the equipment corresponds to the licence presented by the user. On the basis of reciprocal a
9、greements, a CEPT member could accept, as an alternative to the licence mentioned above, an easily identifiable mark notified to that member by another Administration. This mark, placed on the front of the equipment, should be in the following form: CEPT PR 27 X (X being the symbol of the country of
10、 residence of the user). This symbol could be followed by the national authorisation number. Administrations will inform any Administration with which an agreement has been signed of amendments made to their national regulations.” The symbols to be used should be as shown in the following table: Cou
