2、 the Recommendation adopted by the “Telecommunications” Commission: “The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations, considering (a) that in a country in Region 2, the possibility of opening part of the 220-235 MHz band to fixed and mobile services for the private use of tr
3、ansmitter-receivers by the general public on collective frequencies is currently being examined, (b) that such use is likely to result in a great number of similar requests in CEPT countries, (c) that this use would not be compatible with the existing allocations of frequencies in CEPT countries, (d
4、) that it is advisable to take common measures in order to avoid the use of such equipment in this part of the spectrum, recommends 1. that member Administrations of the CEPT should not permit in their respective countries the use by the general public of transmitter-receivers operating in the 220-2
