2、Text of the Recommendation adopted by the “Telecommimications” Commission: “The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations, considering (a) that ever increasing number of motor vehicles have land mobile radio stations installed in them, (b) that cross-border movement of mot
3、or vehicles continues to increase, (c) that there are both radio regulatory and customs implications for the temporary importation of land mobile radio (d) that CEPT Administrations may not be competent to establish customs regulations, (e) that considerable administrative work occurs between some C
4、EPT countries to permit the temporary import of equipments, land mobile radio equipments even if they are not to be used, recommends in order to reduce the administrative efforts required by CEPT Administrations. 1. that CEPT Administrations should take the necessary radio regulatory measures to ena
5、ble foreign nationals to carry land mobile radio equipment which is installed in motor vehicles to cross national frontiers without obtaining special permission on condition that it shall not be operated during the short stay or journey, 2. that CEPT Administrations contact their national customs au
