2、d by the Working Group “Radio Regulatory“ (RR) Text of the Recommendation adopted by the “European Radiocommunications Committee“ (ERC): The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations, considering, a) that the Terrestrial fight Telephone System (TFTS) will be introduced by
3、early 1994, using the fiqency bands 1670 - 1675 MHz and 1800 - 1805 MHZ, b) that the frequency bands mentioned in Considering a) above have been designated for TFTS by the ERC Decision ERC/DEC/(92)01, c) that it would be advantageous for CEFT Administrations to have a common approach to harmonise th
4、e procedures for type approval for the airborne terminal equipment of the TFTS, d) that in the absence of a CTR for TFTS, the interim type approval is only possible against the essential requirements of prETS 300-326, e) that the ERC Decision ERC/DEC/(92)01 requires the Administrations to permit fre
5、e Circulation of TFTS terminal equipment provided that the equipment conforms to the ETSI ETS, I that the airborne terminal equipment of the TFTS falls within the scope of the EC Directive 91/263/EEC and that Directive provides for the testing for compliance to the essential requirements through a N
6、otifie Body, g) that the airborne terminal equipment of the TFlS is subjected to additional approval or certification procedures by the Civil Aviation Authorities in order to ensure its compliance with the general safety aspects of the aircraft, recommends, that CEPT Administrations shall mutually a
7、ccept the interim type approval and permit the free circulation and use of the airborne terminal equipment of the TPTS provided that the equipment is issued with an hte-rhn type approval by any CEPT type approval authority to the essential requirements of the prETS 300-326 following type testing at
8、a test laboratory accredited in accordance with the IS0 guides 25 and 38 or EN 45001 and EN 45002 or a National Standard conforming to IS0 guides 25 and 38 or EN 45001 and EN 45002, that, prior to the adoption of a CTR for TFTS, the airborne terminal equipment of TPTS shall bear a mark as specified
9、in Annex 1 to this Recommendation, that, once TFTS airborne terminal equipment has been granted type approval by any CEPT type approval authority according to the requirements of Recommends 1 and 2 above, no additional information shall be required by CEPT Administration apart from that necessary to
