Sampling - Sampling of the marking material for inspection and testing shall be left to 7.3 Tests 7.3.1 Test Conditions - Unless otherwise specified herein, unroll the sample, flatten and then condition all applied and unapplied test samples and specimens under the standard condition specified
47、 in CGSB 1-GP-71 Method 103.1 for 24 h prior to testing. 7.3.2 Test Panels 7.3.2.1 Type 1 CZoth Backing - Cut the marking material to size required and attach to clean aluminum panels (par. 7.3.2.2) by means of a sufficient number of suit- able nonrusting, nonstaining clips or fasteners to keep the

Panels prepared in this manner are used for the following tests: accelerated weathering (par. 7.3.4); reflective intensity during simulated rainfall (par. 7.3.5); water resistance (par. 7.3.6); and cleansability (par. 7.3.7). For the reflective intensity test, a 13 in. (33 cm) square of
49、 marking material shall be applied to the 3 ft (0.91 m) square flat black surface by means of masking tape so that a 12 in. (30.5 cm) square area of the test sample is exposed. Type 2 - Unless otherwise specified, when tests are to be performed using test panels, apply the specimens of reflective material to smooth 0.020 to 0.063 in. (0.5 to 1.6 ram) thick aluminum panels cut from aluminum sheets conforming to U.S. Specification QQ-A-25015 temper T3 or QQ-A-2
