32、ons in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.1.2 This Standard applies to manufactured wiring systems having a maximum voltage rating of 600 V, and a maximum current rating of 30 A.1.3 This Standard applies to powered table systems covered in Annex A.1.4 In this Standard, “shall” is u

42、 of the wiring system that is intended primarily to perform a mechanical rather than electrical function.Interface device a device intended to connect a manufactured wiring system to a branch circuit or to other electrical equipment.Live part a metal or other conductive part that has a voltage diffe

43、rent from that of earth and any other conductive part in normal use.Manufactured wiring system a system containing component parts that are assembled in the places of manufacture, and cannot be inspected at the building site without damage to or destruction of the assembly.4 General requirementsGene

44、ral requirements applicable to this Standard are given in CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.5 Construction5.1 GeneralElectrical components shall conform to the particular Canadian Electrical Code, Part II Standard covering such components, insofar as applicable, and shall be suitable for the application.5.2 Racew

45、ays and fittings5.2.1 Surface raceways and fittings shall comply with the requirements for surface raceways as specified in CSA C22.2 No. 62, and with the requirements of Clause 7.6.5.2.2 Nonmetallic raceways and metal raceways with nonmetallic extruded covering shall have a flame rating of FT1 or F

46、T4 when tested in accordance with Clause 5.10.1 or 5.10.4 of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.3.5.2.3 Bushings used with armoured cables or with flexible metallic conduits shall be subjected to the test specified in Clause 7.8.5.3 Accessibility of parts5.3.1 Wiring and live parts shall be enclosed when installed

47、 in the intended manner. Openings of an electrical connecting assembly that comply with Clause 5.3.4 need not to be enclosed.C22.2 No. 203.1-14Manufactured wiring systemsJanuary 2014 2014 CSA Group85.3.2 Enclosures of uninsulated live parts shall be complete and shall require the use of a tool(s) to

48、 gain access to those parts.5.3.3 Enclosures of insulated live parts shall be complete and reliably secured in place. Covers shall be properly secured. Snap-fit covers shall meet the requirements of Clause 7.6.5.3.4 A contact opening of an electrical connecting assembly shall be acceptable if the pr

49、obe illustrated in Figure 1 cannot be made to contact an uninsulated live part whena) an attempt is made to insert the probe through the contact opening; orb) the mating assembly is partially inserted into the matching assembly.5.4 Mechanical assembly5.4.1 A manufactured wiring system shall be so assembled that when adjacent assemblies are connected, disconnected, or moved to form varying angles with each other as would occur during intended use, a risk of fire or electric shock is not introduced (see Clauses 6.4 and 7.3).5.4.2 Switches,
