It is the first edition of NMX-J-009/4248/19-ANCE, the first edition of C22.2 No 4248.19, and the first edition of UL 4248-19.This harmonized standard was prepared by the Association of Standardization and Certification, (ANCE),CSA Group and Underwrit

37、.19 UL 4248-194Fuseholders Part 19: Photovoltaic Fuseholders1 Scope1.1 This Part applies to Fuseholders for Photovoltaic (PV) Systems rated to 1500 Vdc.1.2 This Part applies to PV fuseholders that accommodate PV fuses as described in the Standard forPhotovoltaic Fuses, CSA C22.2 No. 248-19 / UL 248-

38、19 to be employed in Photovoltaic (PV) systems andthat are intended to be used in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, and NationalElectrical Code.1.3 Fuseholders that meet another Part shall also comply with those requirements of that Part.2 General2.1 This Part is intended to be r

39、ead together with the Standard for Low-Voltage Fuseholders Part 1:General Requirements, NMX-J-009/4248/1-ANCE CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 4248.1 UL 4248-1 hereafterreferred to as Part 1. The requirements of Part 1 apply unless modified by this Part.2.2 For products intended for use in Canada, general requirem

40、ents are given in CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0,General Requirements Canadian Electrical Code, Part II.3 Characteristics3.1 Classification3.1.1 Fuseholders for use with photovoltaic (PV) fuses shall have a minimum short-circuit withstand ratingof 10 kA and shall be rated 1,500 Vdc maximum.3.2 Voltage and curr

41、ent rating3.2.1 Fuseholders for use with photovoltaic (PV) fuses may be rated 1500 Vdc maximum, and thepreferred ratings are 600 V, 750 V, 1,000 V, 1,250 V, and 1,500 V.3.3 Withstand rating3.3.1 Fuseholders for use with photovoltaic (PV) fuses shall have a minimum short-circuit withstand ratingof 10

42、 kA.4 Markings4.1 Fuseholders for use with photovoltaic (PV) fuses shall be marked in accordance with Part 1. In theUnited States, the French markings are not required.4.2 The information on a fuseholder shall be legible and include the following:a) Use Photovoltaic (PV) Fuses” or equivalent and Uti

44、ivalent (intended for modular design photovoltaic (PV) fuseholders suchthat the fuse is inserted or removed by use of a carrier); andd) Do Not Connect or Disconnect under Load or equivalent and NE PAS BRANCHER OUDBRANCHER SOUS CHARGE or the equivalent (intended for photovoltaic (PV) fuseholdersthat

45、include a wire connector feature).4.3 PV Fuseholders employing an integral, non-user replaceable fuse need not bear the markingsspecified in 4.2 (a) (d).5 Construction5.1 In addition to the requirements of Part 1, in-line photovoltaic fuseholders that include a wire connectorfeature or are intended

46、for unprotected outdoor use shall comply with the requirements of the StandardFor Connectors for use In Photovoltaic Systems, UL 6703, or CSA TIL A-36, Interim CertificationRequirements for Connectors Intended for Use in Photovoltaic Systems.6 Tests6.1 Verification of temperature rise6.1.1 Test meth

47、od6.1.1.1 If the fuse and fuseholder form an integral device intended to be replaced as a unit, then theactual fuse, not a dummy fuse, may be used in testing. If the actual fuse is used, the applicabletemperature limits shall be the limits specified in Table 1 plus 20C.6.1.1.2 The temperatures speci

48、fied in Table 1 are based on an assumed ambient temperature of 25C(77F). A test may be conducted at an ambient temperature within the range of 20 40C (68 104F).6.1.1.3 If a test is conducted at an ambient temperature other than 25C (77F), an observed temperatureshall be corrected as described in 6.1

49、.1.4. No corrected temperature shall exceed the required valuespecified in Table 1.6.1.1.4 An observed temperature shall be corrected by addition if the ambient temperature is lower than25C (77F) or subtraction (if the ambient temperature is higher than 25C) of the difference between25C and the ambient temperature.6.1.1.5 If a corrected temperature exceeds the required value specified in Table 1, at the request of themanufacturer, the test may be r
