The nominal sizes for general purpose IS0 metric screw threads specified in the DIN 13 series of standards are based on the nominal profile without clearance on the flank shown in figure 1. Profiles with clearance on the flank as shown in figures 2 an
12、d 3 are based on the fundamental deviations es and El specified in DIN IS0 965-1.
