、edures to be followed for acceptance inspection are given in figures 1 and 2. 38、rrective action The manufacturer shall have the right to correct any defects once, either before or after retesting, without cost to the pur- chaser (e.g. by heat treatment or sorting out). The batch so treated may be then submitted for renewed acceptance inspection. 4.5.5 Retests If a product or a bat
、ch fails any of the tests, the manufactur- er shall be entitled to repeat the failed test on twice the number of test pieces taken from the same casting. All such test pieces shall then satisfy the requirements. Otherwise, the product or batch shall be deemed not to be in con- formance with the stand
、ard and shall either be sorted out or submitted for renewed inspection after any defects or de- ficiencies have been corrected once. See figure l for pro- cedures to be followed. If, in the course of batch testing, a test unit is found to be unsatisfactory, a test unit comprising twice the number of
、 test pieces may be taken from the relevant batch and sub- jected to testing as specified in subclauses4.3.1 and 4.3.2.1f one of the test pieces still fails any of the tests, any defects or deficiencies may be corrected once. If the test pieces continue to fail to satisfythe requirements, the batch
、shall be deemed not to be in conformance with the standard, and shall not be resubmitted. However, the manufacturer and purchaser may agree that all units belonging to the same batch be tested individually. See figure 2 for procedures to be followed. 4.6 Invalid test results Test results that may be
、 deemed to have been falsified by incorrect sampling, sample preparation or testing, or by an accidental and local defect in a test piece, shall not be counted. 5 Marking Marking of castings shall be as specified in DIN 1690 Part 1. 6 Packaging The requirements regarding packaging specified in DIN 1
、690 Part 1 shall be complied with. 1) The results of the ladle or product analysis and the deter- mination of hydrogen content shall be stated in inspec- tion certificate B.
